Your first visit, we usually reserve about two hours.

New Patients

Your first visit is about getting a complete picture of your dental health, understanding what we see, and giving you time to ask questions without feeling rushed.

That gives us time to take the records we need, complete a thorough exam, and sit down with you to go through everything we find.

What we do at your first visit:

Records

X-rays, digital photographs, and when helpful, a 3D scan of your teeth.

Comprehensive Exam

We evaluate your teeth, gums, bite, existing dental work, and overall oral health.

Review together

We sit down with you, show you the images, and explain what we found.

Then we go through it together

We'll review the x-rays and photographs with you so you can see what we see. We'll talk about what needs attention now, what may need attention in the near future, and what we can simply watch over time.

When it's useful, we'll also show you examples of healthy anatomy and similar cases Dr Aulakh has treated so you have a better idea of what we're talking about.

Immediate needs

Problems that are causing symptoms, actively getting worse, or should be addressed sooner rather than later.

Near-future needs

Things that are stable for now, but may need treatment in the future.

Long-term watch

Things that don't necessarily need treatment now and can be monitored over time. We can take photos and compare them over time.

No surprises. No pressure.

We’ll explain what we see, discuss your options, answer your questions, and give you the information you need to decide what makes sense for you.
